InSight Titles, the passion-project of award-winning (2023 SMA’s Del Hughes Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Art of Stage Management) Opera Stage Manager Brett Finley, is the place to find fresh & relatable supertitles for all of your opera needs. Using a combination of the original libretto, clunky and dated translations, and a thorough knowledge of both the art form and of storytelling, Brett creates ready-to-go powerpoint supertitles and the accompanying operator’s calling score for fluid, authentic, and natural-sounding supertitles. Rates are assessed on a sliding scale, because Brett believes that opera should be accessible and relatable for everyone.
Under Existing Titles you’ll find a list of her existing supertitles. Under Samples there is an example of a prepared calling score page, and a a few short translations. But if you’re looking for something she hadn’t done yet, don’t let that stop you from reaching out! Brett is always looking to add new shows to her repertoire.
